Safe’n’Sec Pro new solution announcement at CeBIT 2007!

With “Application Live Zone” new security feature and integrated Anti-Rootkit Module

 05.03.2007 Moscow, Russia. S.N.Safe&Software Ltd., Safe’n’Sec proactive PC protection developer announces new solution – Safe’n’Sec Pro – beta version release at CeBIT 2007. All journalists, business representatives and PC users are welcome to our stand E58, Hall 7, to learn more about new solution.

Safe’n’Sec Pro has got several new features important for users especially in field of increasing the level of provided protection. In particular new solution has got an “Application live zone” when user can set the zone of application execution (Restricted/Normal/Trusted). That means the most vulnerable applications (Internet Explorer for ex.) can be executed in a restricted zone thus preventing PC from possible attacks and this application usage by malicious code. Besides, new option is automatic update of trusted applications’ list and automatic creation of activity control rules for “just arrived” trusted applications thus lowering the amount of false alarms.

Commercial Safe’n’Sec Pro versions will be supplemented with new Safe’n’Sec Rootkit Detector (RD) module developed for hidden kernel-level modules (drivers) detection, system function interceptors detection and hidden processes search which now is in the stage of beta testing. Commercial release of Safe’n’Sec Pro is planned for summer 2007.

Along with increasing the level of provided protection new product has become more easy to use what is important for novice PC users. Particularly concerning rules editor which now allows combining rules in logical groups and setting this or that rules group for particular application. Besides, Safe’n’Sec Pro user can set validity period of certain activity control rules. Rules creation for the specified user only is available so that Safe’n’Sec could run in different ways for advanced user (ask questions about suspicious application) and novice user (just block suspicious application).

Besides, Process manager in Safe’n’Sec Pro displays processes in a logical tree view and for user convenience can display unknown processes only.

This software offers new approach to computer security and provides efficient protection from new viruses, targeted attacks, insiders and insecure actions of novice users with minimum additional efforts. Safe’n’Sec Pro will be presented in versions for home users, SMB, enterprises and special version for access to confidential data protection Safe’n’Sec Timing. All Safe’n’Sec Pro versions will be compatible with Windows Vista 32 bit. Compatibility issue with 64 bit will be solved at the end of 2007 year.

At CeBIT 2007 Russia has got special “company-partner” status that means active promotion of Russian companies’ expos and developments during the fair. In the framework of the promo program developed by Russian Ministry of information technologies and communications S.N.Safe&Software Ltd. will be listed in various catalogues, information and searching systems. Active work with local and international press is planned in Russian press center and at S.N.Safe&Software booth. Besides, company’s CEO Michael Kalinichenko will make presentation of Safe’n’Sec solutions on the stage of Russian central exposition in Hall 12.
